Think about the last thing you Googled. You were probably looking for the answer to a question, a product to buy, or a person to contact.

What you found was a series of links. Then those links took you to a web page. And that web page had an answer, a product, or an email form. This is otherwise known as content.

You want people to visit your website, right? People seek content. A blog is the best way to add content. So, you need a blog.

Every website owner is addicted to traffic. We can’t help but constantly refresh our Analytics. The only way to get our fix is to inject our site with a traffic spike.

Traffic is fun but it doesn’t necessarily turn into money. In fact, excessive traffic can crash your site and cripple your business. I know at least one kid who got so much traffic that it cost more to host the site than he was bringing in in revenue.

But it’s still the second step to making money online. There are only six ways to drive tons of traffic and four are absolutely free.

I know, I know. Your 3D friends aren’t the best source of traffic because they’re probably not interested in what you have to sell.

But, it’s still important for them to see your site. Why? Because they’re your friends. They already trust you and they want to know what you’re up to. Plus, they’re willing to introduce you to their friends, who will introduce you to their friends. And that’s how almost every website or business starts.
